Once upon a time there were three founders, each of whom had started their PropTech companies at the same time. Yet today, each is at a very different place:

The “High Flyer”: His company is firing on all cylinders and his biggest challenge is managing explosive growth.

The “Making Progress”: Her company has gotten some modest initial traction, but cash is starting to run low.

The “Not Ready to Give Up”: His company is floundering but he still believes there is a market for the product.

While each Founder could benefit by working with an executive coach, the needs of each of these Founders will differ because of their current circumstances. Yet despite the differing challenges faced by each, the process to overcome those roadblocks is the same.

Being a Founder is a lonely job, despite outward appearances. Founders and their senior leaders are often accustomed to success. And for many successful people, the three hardest words to say are: “I need help.” They may feel seeking help conveys uncertainty, weakness, fear, ignorance or a host of other undesirable traits. But the reality is, every successful leader needs some kind of assistance. It’s why nearly every Fortune 1000 CEO and their leadership team work with executive coaches.

Your friends, family and investors have entrusted you with their capital, in addition to the money you invested yourself both in terms of savings and forgone earnings. Most founders feel a moral obligation to explore every possible avenue to help their company succeed and reward those who believed in them and their vision. Ask yourself this question: Why does every Fortune 1000 CEO, professional athlete and performer have a coach? The answer is very simple: because coaching works! Yet ask any of them to describe the process, and all of them will struggle to explain.

The best way to understand the coaching process is to experience it firsthand, using a real, current problem as the test. Most reputable coaches will gladly offer a complimentary one-hour session to qualified prospects, so the benefits can actually be experienced. Successful coaches know this secret: The experience sells itself. Most people who experience a session come away truly impressed by the power of working with a certified executive coach, who employs many different proprietary frameworks relevant to the problem(s) at hand.

But the first step, no matter which of the three types of Founder or senior leader you are, is to acknowledge that you don’t have all the answers. The second step is to accept that you could use support. And finally, you need to act, now, and reach out to schedule a complimentary trial session. At worst, you’ll have learned what Executive Coaching actually can actually do for your company. But far more likely, you’ll unlock a powerful secret of successful founders and senior leadership---an Executive Coach is the competitive advantage you can’t afford not to have in your corner. Book your complimentary one-hour session with PropTech Coaching Solutions today.
